Sit back and think about what causes you stress in life. Some things are out of our control but I would be willing to bet that most of it can be tied back to money. Whether you’re young and trying to figure out a career, taking on debt to get an education, attempting to buy your first house, needing to buy a reliable vehicle. Can you afford to have children? If you’re older and thinking about how and when you can retire. Can you afford it? Have you invested your money in the right place? What if the market crashes again? All of these things are directly related to money. Money is stressful!
I’m telling you this is a direct result of our money being BROKEN! As we continue to print even more money it is going to become even more stressful! How can a society function around a money whose supply is constantly changing? Money is a signal for all market participants and everything is being greatly distorted. This is only going to get worse as the printing continues.. and I assure you, it will! Everyone is working harder and harder attempting to keep up with the devaluing of the dollar and it is on an exponential trend rather than a linear one. This means that most of the devaluing is still ahead of us. Take a look at the Federal Reserve balance sheet and note the trend. This is called monetizing the debt.
Next, let’s look at the exponential growth of the M2 money supply
And we wonder why things are getting more expensive. If we value everything in dollars and they are increasing the supply of those dollars then it will require more dollars to buy the same good. It is that simple. We can revisit these charts after the government passes its next several trillion dollar spending bills.
A couple analogies I like to use when referring to society about this is a hamster running on it’s wheel and getting nowhere. No matter how fast he runs (no matter how hard you work). The other one is frogs in a pot of boiling water. Things go without notice as the water slowly warms up but as it nears boiling this all changes. Society is in that pot of water and the hotter the temp gets the more social unrest we will see until it finally starts boiling and then all chaos ensues. People feel like they are playing a game they can’t win because things are becoming unaffordable. The people need to fight back. Not against each other though, against the government.
Throughout all of history money has been manipulated to the point where society breaks down and ceases to function. When you have control of money in the hands of humans it is impossible to ignore the emotions that we inherently have. The number one emotion being greed. We all want something for nothing, it is human nature and we can’t avoid that. Control over the monetary policy is left the those in charge and they are ruining this country! We get headlines from them like this
“You’ll own nothing and you’ll be happy.”
They tell you printing a multi trillion dollar bill will reduce costs…
“The debt limit demands immediate attention.”
“It is essential that Congress acts quickly to address the debt limit.”
“Families will receive a monthly tax relief to help pay for essentials.”
To put this in laments terms… Upcoming generations wont be able to afford houses but that’s ok, they’ll rent their house and they’ll be happy. This inflation will be solved by an infrastructure bill.. America needs to allow for more debt so we don’t default! Imagine if that’s how you ran your own personal budget. It’s disgusting. FAMILIES CAN’T AFFORD ESSENTIALS!! Thank god the government can give them some tax relief. These are all signs of a terribly broken system and I won’t just sit here and take it. I’m buying Bitcoin and opting out of this corrupt fiat monetary system.
Bitcoin offers a solution to this problem by removing humans from the monetary policy! Bitcoin offers a transparent money run by code and mathematics. We know the issuance rate and we know the max supply. This sounds simple but it is ground breaking. Something never before possible. It offers a constant with which we can all work around and plan our lives accordingly. Bitcoin offers a money that holds value. A money that incentives savings. We no longer need financial advisors telling us where to risk our life savings. We can simply save and plan for the long term. Bitcoin fixes this inflationary monetary system that has us running on the hamster wheel or boiling in the water by simply having a fixed supply outside the control of humans.
Conclusion
Please stop taking the mainstream headlines at face value! They will spin it anyway they need to to make it sound good. I like to follow the Federal Reserve and even listen in when they speak about their FOMC meetings. They talk about inflation often and have literally went from saying “there won’t be inflation” to “there is no inflation” to “inflation is transitory” to “inflation is good.” I leave you with this wonderful meme.
